replacement fuel tank GC8

Mine is corroded and looking to replace, my local dealer says import tank is different but they can get from Japan with 6-7 week lead time. Anyone had one made or other ideas or source for very good used? THANKS

Don't think there's any difference in the tanks. Check first but I know we put a UK tank in an import.
