does anyone know how easy it would be to remove the engine subframe/crossmember on a 2006 Hawkeye Wrx.



Where 9 is there’s a small bit of rust.

 

Quite a job opposed to the rear of your doing it on a driveway as the engine will need supported.number 9
Protrudes down towards wishbone so always gets the rust first ., this can be removed effectively with a good wire brush on the end of a dremal or such , then brush paint to effect .
Ov course if you really want the subframe removed it’s straight forward as long as you have the correct tools , supports & patience etc
