fuel gauge issue

Default fuel gauge issue

hi, i recently took my spedometer out to change a few globes, i put it all back together again and now my fuel gauge wont move. though i do remember knocking the fuel dial could that have effected it? ive tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery and putting more fuel in to see if it would go up but nothing. thanks

its an 04 wrx sedan

Very easy to goose it.

You might get away with a new gauge from a new set of clocks....

Yea I've just ordered a new cluster for it hopefully that'll fix it , there's no error codes either.

It won't throw a code. basically the copper tracks flex, eventually crack and produce a high resistance, which leads to it burning out.
