Default Heat shield ??

So I've just had my car mapped I changed down pipe prior to mapping but couldn't fit turbo heat shield back on just wondering what people did to combat this? Are turbo blankets any good to combat excess heat under the intercooler? Or is it worth manufacturing a heat shield. I've wrapped (titanium) the down pipe. Thanks in advance for help.

I just trimmed mine with a hacksaw to make it clear the wider down pipe.
