Default Which Dump/Recirc/BOV for 2007 Forester Cross Sports

I have recently bought a 2007 Cross Sports. After making my own exhaust as they're not exactly commonly available, I want to release yet more noise from that engine, but I don't want full dump, nor full recirc.

I've tried the £65 dual port diverter from ebay, but it sits slightly too tall as the inlet manifold is in the way. I must presume the GFB Respons will do the same.

Any other options?

Should I go down the 25mm adaptor route? and just add a couple of inches of hose and pipe to make it work?

In addition. Cone/Pod/Induction kits. Does anyone know of any that are compatible...as the MAF is part of the airbox lid...

Cheers,

Craig

1. Stick with the standard recirc valve, it's fine, does the job, doesn't cause problems.

2. Use a decent panel filter, induction kits can cause MAF failure, detting etc, which is big ££££

Will a K&N, or other well branded panel filter, make any audible difference?

I have only heard good things about the standard recirc valve, but I am not wanting to upgrade it due to faults or performance, I am merely trying to make a bit of noise.

Probably not.

I see what you are doing, but ask yourself if it's worth the risk?

For some induction noise try a snorkusectomy On a UK XT forester with a mapped TF035 it got extremely tiresome in the end.
