Evap system removal.
Subaru Impreza WRX 2005 EJ205.
Hello guys. Just bought my first Scooby a week ago, and im verry happy with it Just have a couple questions. The last owner done alot of mods, and he decided to remove the evap system, but im not shure that he did it the right way, you gonna see why. I will attach a picture with the things i think are wrong.
Number 1. That filter is right AFTER the MAF ?!
Number 2. That vacuum is going out from the intake manifold to intake manifold... i think i will just use vacuume hose plugs.
Number 3. One of the evap lines is again block but with a screwdriver so i think just gonna use plug again.
But the main problem is the check engine light becouse of evap solenoid its disconnected.. how can i solve this ?
Thank you.

Filter is venting intake air, should be blocked. Then you need to flash ecu to clear the codes. You can do this yourself with tractrix and ecuflash but you may want to check price of cable if thats all its for. I would block the other line from intake manifold nipple too.
Or refit evap solenoid.

oh you might want to check if its been mapped with vent to air dump valve, the lack of battery clamp is mot fail and you might as well check the brake booster line for the valve being removed from original and inserted into the replacement silicon hose whilst at it.
