Get a custom map or buy the cable and DIY.

Hi ossett2k2, I have access to the cable and all the software for the mapping, I was just wondering if the STI stock map would be ok to use once I have fitted the vf43. Im not sure what other differences there are between the WRX and the STI engine wise other than the intercooler. Cheers.

I've only had and worked on GC8s,there is a difference in heads, valves, cams between the wrx and sti.
I'm not clued up on the newage, but could be the same?

single vs duel avcs isn't it? so no you can't just flash it and its not advisable anyway to do it anyway. get it mapped properly.

07's are all single AVCS - but if you flash the STI map to the WRX ecu somehow you'll end up needing to take the ECU apart and bench flash it so it starts working again.

You can't really take the STI info and use that on the WRX setup though, engines are too different so you'll have to learn to map it properly, chance your arm with some random map you found on romraider that may/maynot work or pay someone to get it running for you.
