Default Classic wrx overheating help needed

hi all newbie here just got my 1st wrx subaru classic 1995 import

have a overheating problem.

drinad the system and checked the thermostat all seem ok open up in hot water.

fed new collant via the header tank used a funnal to burp/ bleed the system until no air was showing.with heater on hot inside the car

left it to cool down checked levels all ok
heater working blowing hot air.

its ticks over fine fans kick in ect but after ten minutes of driving the temp garge starts to clime to top/H

so aloud to cool off again check the levels all ok

took the car back out seemed ok 20 minutes later it's back this time running hot and coolant coming out of the plastic bottle next to the battery.

heater still working inside the car fans on and temp garge reading near hot

left running on the drive for ten minutes temp drop to normal 🙈

Can someone shed some light on to my problem is this some sort of air lock or is it somthing I have done worgh any info would be grate

And
If it's not an airlock then I'd suggest getting a sniff test done as it might be head gasket failure.

The engine is under no load when on idle so depending on where the gasket fails then it might not overheat.

If you've filled the system through the header tank then it's pretty likely you've got an airlock.

Hi Jason

only water I was losing was from the plastic bottle next to the battery.

Done a flush again last night flowing doing it via the turbo pipe while up in the air slow and steady took about 30 minutes to fill it.

Drove the car for about 10 minutes after no problems

come to work this morning 12 miles in triffic and open up on a road as see to stay half way so hopfully it's sorted.

really appreciated all the help tho will up date you all if it comes back 👍🏼
