Default Meth left in plastic tank

Needing a little help /advice....

Is meth ok if it's been left in the aquamist tank in my car boot for say 2 months?

will it have gone off and should it be swapped out?

And if so, does anyone know how to drain/flush out an aquamist setup?

cheers

that will be ok, presume 50/50 mix with deionized water? I've never flushed out my tank in the 8 years I've had the system, just add fresh mix as required.

Right ok...

It's straight meth. No water added. It's been sitting in there a little while now as the car hasn't been running meth

providing the filler cap has always been secure then there shouldn't be a problem at all.
I'm surprised you run straight meth, the Aquamist is a water/meth system to my knowledge.

Thanks for the heads up trev...

As as far as I'm aware it can be ran as a mix or as just meth.

And i could be completely wrong but I think you can run just water too without any meth at all

but it should be mapped in as switching from meth to water and visa versa would have big impact on your AFR and run the risk of serious damage to the engine i.e hydraulic compression, water doesn't compress and excess in the cylinder would kill the engine.
I would speak to Aquamist for advice or to the people who installed the system.
google NASIOC Forum (North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club) they have a section for this and Richard of Aquamist is usually on line to answer any questions.
I can also help if you wanted to message me

Hi trev,

yeah as far as I know you would have to stick with whatever the car was mapped for as chopping changing wouldn't work....mine will be mapped for a 20% mix of meth only....what gains can be expected from your personal experience?

sorry mate I jumped to the wrong conclusion, of course you wouldn't switch the fueling around.
The 50/50 ratio is the most well documented and is used as a starting point. 100% meth or 100% water is used but more in the states where good fuel isn't always available.
My mapper thinks my 50/50 W/M injection gives me + 20/25 hp, also I'm able to retain my TMIC and run good power. That's running V Power. Also helps safety on track.
I also used to run 20% meth in fuel and that gave me another 25hp, most chaps would go this route rather than spend out for an Aquamist.
