Default Ebay Stainless Steel Headers

Sorry if this has been covered before. But are the Stainless Headers advertised on Ebay for about £200 actually any good. According to a Subaru Tuning company on the web they decrease power??

Are they worth getting?

Thanks in Advance.

My plan was to fit a Decat Up pipe. Cosworth Panel Filter and then get a decent remap.

But wondered if the Manifolds make any difference?

Can't see any Kinugawa manifolds on fleabay, the ones for £200 are crapspeed or unbranded, and certainly not the same as RCM.

Yea those crapspeed ones are worse than stock, but those ssi ones rcm sell are everywhere for much less,

There used to be kinugawa uel & el on fleabay. cheap too around £350 if i remember.

I understand it's NZ dollers but just an example.

Yes they're the same as RCM,Tommi etc but not £200
The stuff from Kinugawa usually comes with extra import tax so works out the same if not more money.

This is the last set I had on mine.... Did 517hp.

Other than the obvious issues,

1) Sounds gash. Like any UEL header.
2) Cheap **** stainless that cracks. But at least they were not 500quid like the RCM ones. For 190 notes it's just throw away tat.

Looks closer to £229 than £190.
Are they the crapspeed ones and did they fit ok?
Heard storys about poor fitting.
Do you think they use the same grade ss as the RCMs?
Were the welds decent quality?
I might be tempted to take a punt for half the price of RCMs if they do EL.

They were generic spec 3. Same as RCM, japspeed etc etc.....

Fitted fine. Same grade stainless and all the rest of the generic manifolds. The welds were fine. The material cracked after a couple of years the same as the rcm ones I had on it before hand...
