Hey, my wrx has been remapped with the stock recirc valve, I tried blanking it off for abit chatter and noticed a judder on light throttle, is this because of the remap? Thanks

If it has only started since blanking off then i would try seeing if it hapens when you put what it was mapped with back on

Changing dv setup would change air flow slightly I would have thought?
I would say your learning tables/trims might need time to adjust to new setup.
There's a fast learning trick on the newage but I'm not sure if it works?

Thanks for reply guys, I changed back to the stock recirc and the judder stopped! That's what made me think it must be the map on the car

As Ossett said, you can get the car to learn differences in the system using the fast learn technique. This requires various start stop processes of the ignition and should sort some things out that can be learned in the ECU.


However, not all turbo's like to run DV-delete anyhow and certainly with a stock WRX turbo (presumably TD04) it's going to kill your turbo faster.

Thanks for your input, iI'll do a search and have a look how to speed the process up as I do like the chatter lol. I'm using a td05 16g turbo, I upgraded the turbo and injectors before I remapped the car.

The TD series are tough as old boot...
Just dont do a delete on an IHI or the VF series.
I have run a DV delete for 40000+mls with my TD05, (2001 WRX) no problems. I actually drilled a 10mm hole in the delete initially to try it out - a half way move.
But as usual went the whole hog after a couple of weeks, love the noise. Very slight loss of performance during gear change but, I love the noise

Yep unless your turbo is already poorly it wont affect itbrunning a dv delete.

Td04, 5 etc are really tough old school units
