Rust prone areas to waxoyl on the blob body.
Hi guys.
So ive had my car a good few months now (04 wrx) and can see myself having it for a good few years. Its really clean and would like to keep it like that if i could. Ive got a few cans of aerosol waxoyl kicking about and would like to put them to use. Can anyone just tell me the areas where these bodies are most likely to start suffering with age/rust. I done the rear arches and lips when i first bought it but would like to protect other prone areas before the winter hits. It flew through the MOT earlier on this year so I really want to just keep it rot free underneath if poss.
Examples like sills/brake pipe and any hints on easy ways of going about it on my driveway would be great. thanks.

Take the front bumper off to see how it is behind there and do same with the back if you really want to go all out there's a thread on here where a gentleman took his wings and bumper off and did a proper job of it

Remove the front arch liners, a lot of crap builds-up inside the wing, see my thread here: https://www.scoobynet.com/1004847-fo...l#post11684943

Subscribed! Very good thread idea! I was thinking about the same. Probably gonna get some rust coverter and seal/paint things up where possible. I guess blobs are reaching that age now where rust can become a real problem and would hate to see mine rot away!
