I was given a firewall with a my99 classic I bought recently and got told he hadn't got round to installing it!! Is this a common upgrade? Is the standard one rubish and people upgrade when they are making engine modifications?

Clearly it's been used before just wondering if I need it or whether to get rid!!

Was going to say I'd buy it off you, but looks a right mess, best bet is in the bin. Looks home made.

Basically firewall is only needed in a track car etc with no back seats and if running swirl pot in boot etc.

 

I was thinking it looked a bit dodgy. Will sling it unless anyone actually wants it? Free if you come get it. PM me will be gone by next week.
