\hi guys

Just bought my scooby and it has been owned by a mechanic for the last 10 years who has self serviced and I have no receipts for anything.

So I was going to book it in with scoobyclinic for a service:

Cambelt change
Oil and filter
New K and N panel filter
Fuel filter
New spark plugs

If I have used the matrix correctly it looks like it is £636

It sounds expensive to me but is it worth using someone like themselves as they know what there doing? Or should I take it to dave who has been my mechanic on most of my cars for 10 years and has a garage so close to my factory I can shout him?

Or any other recommendations?

Hi mate, give Richard Henry Motorsport in Bradford a call, they will be able to carry out everything you need. They have an absolutely fantastic reputation as I'm sure others on here will testify. I use Richard Henry Motorsport in Bradford however have heard good things about Sheffield Subaru Services who are closer to you.

I'd go to someone who is familiar with Imprezas to be honest.

will also check prices with them, yeah I didnt want to use the local garage as they do all cars, rather have a subaru or impreza specialist

Thanks for the advice and recommendations, after a few phone calls i am booked in with richard henrys for all the work including fitting my prosport gauges. Then the day after it is being remapped by andrew car as he visits them each week. Cheers

Does Richard Henry do all form of cars/servicing etc? I'm need of a knowing where a good mechanic is as the last three independants royally screwed up the last car that I had.

Also what are his hourly rates?
