Default Classic impreza sills.

What is involved in removing a classic impreza plastic side sills.

From memory, a few 10mm bolts on the underside of them and some pull-off plastic studs.

Thanks, i have just looked at the bolts and all seem to be seized.

They will be, they are simple zinc plated, and rust solid.

You'll have to remove them anyway if you want the sills off, they only screw into plastic inserts which are easily replaceable and cost pennies each from a Scoob dealer.

Once they are off, and new inserts, buy STAINLESS roofing bolts from Screwfix etc to replace the old bolts.

Thanks for the info but do you have the reference number for the screwfix bolts.

Nope, but from memory they are something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M6-Flange-...92AMNq7NQ4ge8g

Mine were hex-headed, not sockets like the above, pretty sure they were M6 or M8, but once one is out you'll know, ebay is your friend now.

You can use a pointy thing to stop the plastic retainer from spinning.
