Replacing cambelt tools.
Over the last couple of months I have been working on my bugeye STi and realised that the cambelt was overdue. Having priced up getting one fitted the cost being @£500. I decided to dig around and see how much it would cost to get the tools I would need. I spotted that Sealey do a cam locking tool;
Sealey Camshaft/Timing Belt Locking Tool - For Subaru/Saab 9-2X Aero - VSE5055. Locks the cams by the Hex bolt holding the pulley on (got from Demon Tweeks via E-bay.
Also found a crankshaft holding tool on E-bay; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1119758613...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Easy job and saved my self a couple of hundred quid on top.

Just done my cambelt too, a good thing about the longitudinal Boxer engine is the belt is very easy to access and change compared to other engines which are transverse.
Those cam holding tools are a god-send and make the job so much quicker and easier.
