I've scoured the net for a heads up on how to locate and replace the cam sensor on my March 2007 registered WRX but it isnt anywhere to be found in the areas the Internet tells me I.E. In and around the oil filler pipe.
Help?

 

It's a 2.5, so the cam sensors should be located at the rear of the heads, one on each. They have 3-pin plugs.

 

Items #6 for the 2.5L
