Default engine oil cooler fitment

Does anyone have any pictures of their engine oil cooler fitted, just for a location really. Car is a version 6 sti but should be similar to earlier versions. All help appreciated

Had stainless 3016 brackets welded in to mount the cooler in place of the top mount no room out front with the hks fmic. Hope have pics up in a few days

If you want an oil cooler to perform correctly to its full potential, you need to duct air to it.
Not just a bit of hose pointing to it, but a shroud around it that has air forces through it


Raggy that's possibly the worst place you could mount the oil cooler, I'd reconsider mate

Don't tell me that lol , I'd assumed the air from the bonnet scoob will cool it like the intercooler?

I covered the back of mine yesterday with some cardboard and it makes about 10c difference with local driving, it has risen from 75c to 85c. So will leave it covered for now as that is the optimum temp for driving.

I'd be interested in the rationale as well, as looking to install a cooler but with FMIC already in place
