Newage Wagon Suspension Components. Again.
Hi all,
I'm sure that I'm about to ask for info I could find if I trawled through the forum, but I reckon it's been talked about so much that it has become almost impossible to find a straight answer.
The basic question is very simple: Do newage wrx wagons have the same suspension setup as classic saloons/wagons?
I'm talking rear lateral arms, arbs and links, front wishbones etc. Are these all interchangeable and/or of the same dimensions?
The main reason I ask is that I'm thinking about swaping my wishbones for alloy ones and while I know that newage saloon ones are wider, is there such a thing as a classic alloy arm which will just fit without having to worry about the arb / trackrod ends / geometry?
I'm thinking specifically of the icp alloy wishbone upgrade for classics. Do these have the same dimensions as standard newage wagon arms?
I've also seen a lot of uprated classic lateral arms kicking about, will these fit my wagon? would save a lot of f##king about with bushes!
Anyway, the wishbones are my main concern.
Thanks
Dave

see this thread: https://www.scoobynet.com/suspension...e-fitment.html
and this: https://www.scoobynet.com/suspension...wrx-wagon.html
classic/newage wagon wishbones are not a direct swap, but with a little ingenuity they can be made to fit apparently
