Default TD04 inlet size

I'm soon replacing my TD04 with a VF28 among a host of many other upgrades and was wondering if i will need a new inlet pipe. I've roughly measured my TD04 at abou 2" on the inlet and the vf at 2 1/4" bat as the turbo is still on the car i can't be sure of the correct size. I have a 97 v3 Turbo wagon. Any help would be great thanks

42mm id, 55 od for the TD04, so the standard hose should fit fine however being plastic I would check it for splitting and change to a silicone one if need be. A 58mm silicone hose fits fine
