Scenario:
House broken into,safe swiped, spare key/fob inside...sweet..

Re-programmed system to see remaining key/fob so the numpties cant start it. What I need now is a new door barrel with key and preferably on a one button fob for a sigma M30. Its a 2003 forester.Trouble is its not just a plain round barrel pattern, its a rectangular door plate and sits in a rectangular door cut-out. The barrel also accepts a white plastic cap for the central locking electronics.

The other option is get any old subaru pattern key that will go into this barrel and get some new wafers to repattern the lock.

Does this all sound feasible and if so,anyone got the bits I need because I have trawled the internet and found sod all sensible
