Default Timing belt question

Hi guys my name is Greg, I'm new to the site and a new wrx owner.
I have 2003WRX wagon with 92,000 miles on it, should I change my timing belt or wait till mileage is higher.

Welcome along
Do you know when the timing belt was last done by the previous owner?
If not then it would be wise to put a new timing belt kit on.

So the age will trump the mileage?

Yes it does but I think you will find most people won't take that risk, for the sake of a few hundred $$$ or risk a possible few thousand on a rebuild?
It's not just the belt but the idlers and tensioner which could fail.

But your car your choice

1500!!!
Rip off!
They're not to difficult to do if you're good with a spanner.

Cost is around £400 max fitted here, the kits only cost £180.
