I have some tgv deletes from an sti and plan on fitting them as soon as possible. Can i run them and just take the motors out of the tgvs so they still work till i get it taken off the ecu? If i just unplug them and run the car will it go into limp mode? I need to do this asap as my turbo inlet pipe is split and may as well don them at the same time.

yes you can leave the motors/sensors connected and it will drive fine.
