Default I think my ecu just quit on me...

So was driving home today and my car died, no bangs or nocks just like the ignition cut out so I coasted over to the side of the road and plugged in my OBD2 scanner and nothing....usually the ecu powers the code reader up but nothing. The car will turn over and everything else seems to work but it won't start and the main Rev counter stopped working as well (didn't notice speedo ) I checked all fuses in the fuse box and behind the keypad by the drivers knee. I had the car recoverd to my home but I have no idea what to look at next

Any suggestions or a finger in the right direction would be greatly appreciated I did have a O2 sensor issue

Codes (read before today)
P0032 O2S heater control circuit high bank one sensor one.
P0130 O2 sensor circuit bank one sensor one.
P0134 O2 sensor no activity.

These have been intermittent and was planning to address it this weekend when I had time.

Did you check all the fuses?
The fuse box under the bonnet, that's where the main fuse is,and do a proper test with a meter as visual checks are not always accurate.

As above and trace the voltage from the battery along its path.

I checked all the standard type fuses but there is loads of big square things that I didn't touch, any idea what exactly i should be looking at. Is there a main fuse that is for the ecu?

Yea car turns over, fuel pump don't prime but I'm guessing that is controlled by the ecu, when I sit in the car everything seems to work fine but won't start obviously. The main reason I think it's the ecu is because it's not powering the code reader when it's in the OBD2 port.

Car is a 03 blob so don't think a classic ecu will work, thanks all the same.

Right so I found I have a blown fuse but it's a slow blow fuse and is rated to 30A! (SBF 05) I swapped the fuse and straight away the fuel pump fired in and I could read the ecu. I had a a code come up "P0032 Heater Control Circuit High Bank 1 sensor 1" I read on the Internet that this means the heater circuit in the O2 sensor is higher than normal I quote ..."that the resistance level must be higher than 10A to trigger the DTC code" but it don't mean much to me as I mesure risistance in ohm's and current in amps.

So could this be my problem and why the fuse has blown.
