Default Air filter for FMIC

I have a hyper flow FMIC. EJ207. The air filter was getting like a sponge on the front driver side as it is in the wheel arch . OK for California's sunny days but not here. I've detached the pipe from the air filter and put some wire gauze over the pipe temporarily. I've seen 2 K&n air filters hat can be adapted. Anyone recommend a good filter for the job.

The under bonnet intake trumpet and filter supplied by RCM works well if a bit pricey. You can find the equivalent on Ebay for rather less if you look carefully.

Cheers mate. Found that the K&n 57-0626 air filter is a good fix for this problem. Great reviews and an easy fit for a hyper flow FMIC. It cures wheel arch and water spray nonsense.
