Default After an engine change power loss and strange noiise fro turbo

Ok so i had a engine change recently before the change it produced 310bhp but now id be lucky if its 250bhp all ancilleries are the same but one thing ive noticed is that you can hear the turbo sooking air alot more than it used to its a td05 but not sure what g it is im considering upgrading to a 20g at some point not sure if that needs to be sooner rather than later now or if i just need a retune or whats going on im also getting a low and rough idle with sort of hicups every few seconds to me that would suggest the engines getting starved of air or fuel bit im a novice mechanic at best any suggestions would be appreciated

1st think to check would be all the boost pipes are on correctly and not split, restrictor pill is still in place, check the spark plug are not loose, check intake pipe and intercooler pipework. It really could be a number of things really.
What car is it? Can you do any data logging? Can you check the ecu for error codes?

Also the layout is the top pipe on the bcs runs to turbo housing the middle runs to the actuator and the bottom runs to the intake pipe

The bottom pipe on your bcs should have the restrictor pill in there, sound like you have the 3 pipes running to the correct places tho but you would need the pill in there.
Also looks like you have a cheap BOV on there too,not good tbh, ideally you want to put the oem recirc valve back on if you have also would suggest putting the standard airbox.
I'm also guessing you have an aftermarket ecu or ESL on their if it's been mapped to 310bhp?
