Default Why is it doing this!!

Hi all, my turbo 2000 has started doing something a bit weird. When I put my foot down the car hops as it boosts, and the needle on the boost gauge jumps up and down before settling on boost.

Any help or suggestions would be good.

Many thanks

Matt

Mine did this when my maf was dirty so i cleaned the induction kit with cleaner and gently cleaned maf with turbo cleaner been running spot on ever since, however it could be anything, split pipe which you cant see notice until you hit boost etc so you really need to have a afternoon tinkering

Default Cold weather

As above vacuum pipe may be cracked due to bad weather causing cracks in brittle hard pipes just replace the vacuum pipes then have another drive b4 touching the maf
Hope all goes well pall
