Noticed this the other day when exiting a roundabout but as I was cornering quite hard and I didnt really pay attention to it as I short shifted to 4th.

Been out in the car tonight and if I accelerate hard through 2nd and into 3rd it really holds back, but change to 4th and it all comes back. It only does it every now and then, and only in 3rd gear which I find really odd.

Car is a 99 type r, 2.5, UK 6 speed, fp green hybrid turbo (new), hdi fmic, 740cc injectors, 340 pump, alcatek ecu, stock intake pipe, mafless, ported headers.

I'm going to clean the boost solenoid tomorrow and do the usual checks like hoses etc but wondered if anyone else had experienced similar.

Next time I drive the car I'll try and monitor the toucan + boost gauge to make a note of how much its boosting when it holds back.
