Default JDM vs UK

Folks,

Sorry if this has been done to death before, I just can find a thread. Excluding the engine and minor differences in gear ratios, is there really much difference between a JDM STi and a Type UK STi Blob/Hawkeye?

I guess I'm mostly interested suspension geometry, springs, dampers and brakes (i.e. the driving experience).

What I'm really trying to get at, is if you have done some mods to the UK engine and remapped to 350bhp, do you still fall short of a JDM spec car?
