Default Surefire coilpack transformation

Martyn Jeffery recommended these red uprated coil packs to me; he uses them on his track car. My 82 000 mile blob wagon had lumpy idle, CEL light kept coming on under load, and less than sharp acceleration, so I finally got round to swapping them today. I haven't done much motor maintenance for a few years, so watched some "how to`s" on the tube, and cracked on. I only had a problem on the Driver`s rear one when the socket was too deep, no 12mm ring spanner, getting dark.... rushed out to buy a ring ratchet, all sorted.
It idles smoothly, acceleration is much better, and I just popped out a moment ago to the shops, and the CEL has gone off. Four for £ 170, Surefire Ignition off Ebay, Fk0186. The standard ones are £ 120 x 4. Thoroughly recommend.

Well, after doing the plugs today, I found one had failed, so the originals are back on. The boots were much shorter than the oem ones as well
