Default 2004 Type-25 Java black pearl. £9500

Litchfield Type 25 Impreza STi, 2004 'Blobeye', build no 5, Java black pearl paintwork.

£9500 no offers be quick as I may take it off the market as my second property is close to completion.

PM if you have any queries.

It’s a JDM Impreza STi finished by Litchfield Imports, imported from new with a full UK history. Litchfield took the American spec 2.5 litre short engine and mated this with the JDM spec big valve AVCS heads. A twin scroll IHI/Garret hybrid turbo is used. The exhaust is Milltek with a sports cat. Gearbox is 6 speed STi and there is a DCCD. The handling modifications include AST adjustable coilover suspension and Whiteline anti-roll bars and anti-lift kit. Braided brake hoses are fitted.

The car was first registered 1/5/2004, 61500 miles at present. MOT to July 2016. I’m the 5th owner. 'T25***' number plate is included.
The DVLA V5C shows ‘Type 25’ as the variant. The Litchfield invoice for the sale to the second owner confirming this is a ‘Type 25’ is included in the history file and the Litchfield service history booklet confirming its as genuine.
A rolling road run at John Clarkson Autos in November 2012 showed 360 bhp and 390 lb/ft torque, printout available

I have loved owning the car for the past year and a half, but new job and the purchase of a second property means it time to free up the cash. Any marks on the car do not detract from the overall quality, and are in keeping with a car of her age. Recently refurbished Prodrive 18” PFF7 wheels with 4 x Yokohama AD08 tyres, with around 3 mm of tread. A Spec C carbon spoiler is fitted.

The interior of the car is very clean with no rips or burns to the upholstery or carpets. Some of the plastics show the usual wear. Prosport gauges, Alpine double din head unit with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity. The laser jammer head unit has been removed. A tracker is fitted and activated.

A Cobra alarm is fitted; I have the certificate for this. Two STi keys and a ‘JMA’ branded spare key, two alarm fobs and a Litchfield key ring are included.

Comprehensive service history in lever arched file. Car has been maintained by Cotton competition under my ownership and previous owner.

My Ownership
03/06/15 Service including addition of Catch Can £663
21/05/14 Cosworth timing belt new radiator, and comprehensive seal and gasket replacement. £973
07/05/14 Service including Cosworth panel filter, geometry set up, cam seals. £342.28
Group N engine mounts, Transmission mounts, uprated nylon bushes on gear linkage and power flex rear diff mounts added. All standard parts will be sold with the car should the next owner want to revert back to original.

Pardon my ignorance - the UK 2.5 engine gets a bad rep. I'm assuming this US engine isn't as weak???

As above. Good photos are a vital component of any car advert. I would suggest uploading more photos. And no offence, but the photos you have uploaded aren't exactly selling the car as well as they could.

Just my advice - it's your choice whether you heed it or ignore it.

Mate, those photos are so much better. The car looks great, so shiny, and the paintwork looks stunning in the sunlight. Well hopefully you'll get a lot of interest now.

A classified ad on eBay is only about £18 - much cheaper than autotrader. Plus, previous car adverts of mine have always had more views on eBay than autotrader, so if you haven't already done so, it might be worth setting one up. If you use these photos, I'm sure you'll get plenty of enquiries about it.

Good luck!

Just re-read it, and I actually think this is a really good advert now. Seems like a great car at a reasonable price. If I hadn't just got myself a new car, I would've bought this for sure.

Please note the bottom 6 photos where taken on the 30th of January this year and represents how the car looks.
I enjoy detailing and the car literally reflects my attention to detail. Some of my other cars I have owned can be seen on detailing world.

Default Type 25

Hello,
Please would you let me know if you are still selling your Type 25? I was looking out for a good example of a 2006/7 Type 25 but your machine looks superb.
Cash buyer by the way, not looking to part exchange.
Best wishes,
Chris
