SS headers
Is it true that they are prone to cracking? Surely rcm ones would be top quality?
Is it best to heat wrap them too? I've sourced a second hand set hence the question.

Yes they all crack sooner orlater. Heatwrap will not be good for them either.
They are only made out of cheap stainless, you are better off with std ones up to 400hp anyway IIRC?

if your not wrapping them be aware of the wiring loom that runs along the lower part of the radiator...............

wrapped, ceramic coated or no wrapped they still last about 2-3 years so I would do it just to keep under bonnet temps down

There are some available made of a superior grade of steel but they are massively expensive, and it's probably cheaper to replace the usual version when the eventually crack.
