My brand new RCM Induction Kit has just turned up for MY98 V4 UK Turbo, to find out that it won't fit my MAF sensor (purple). Seems the sensor is too small for the cone? Should I return and get different kit or get the correct MAF?

 

Sounds like the kit is for the sti which has a 90mm maf, from memory yours is a 80mm maf. I'd speak to rcm on the phone and explain the situation

 

 

So not worth the hassle of getting another MAF?

 

Nope too much hassle making it fit and work, better to see If RCM will swap the housing for a UK specific maf

 

Just spoke to them, they don't do one to fit a UK so she's gotta go back which is a shame
