Hey guys,
What are the difference between a Forester turbo engine an Impreza engine both from MY99 cars?
One has 170ps (Forester) and the other 218ps, but what are the differences?

Softer Cams and and smaller turbo I think ,as I have a my99 forester turbo/s but they do have 440 yellow injectors

 

I'm pretty sure its simply the turbo and the map....... TD04 and a map will see you with at least 220 no bother!

 

Jgm mapped mine to 237 at srr with original turbo ,hyper flow top mount,h & s sports cat back system ,apexi induction kit,Walbro 255 pump,3 port solonoid.road mapped by Bob Rawle last year now with a vf34 ported and polished headers and Harvey smith trick up pipe to 309.its definitely the cams as people on another forum say it's impossible to get over 300 bhp because of the cams on a forester
