Default Swirl pot and fittings advice needed. :-)

Hi chaps,

Looking at fitting a swirl pot set up to my classic sprint car and was just looking at abit of advice on the subject. Was thinking along these lines,

Rear firewall,
1.5l Sm engineering swirl pot
Bosch 044 external pump.
Filter?

Want to keep the cost down abit really so unsure of what pipes and fittings to use. I know anything in cabin has to be ptfe but as far as in boot I think it can be normal rubber fuel hose. Also is it worth converting the hard pipe end (oe sender) to a connector fitting so I can run ptfe pipe and fancy fittings or just stick with push on fitting at both ends? What sizes are the pipes/fittings??

If u can shed any light on the subject I'd appreciate ur input.

Regards Tim.

No experience myself but thinking about swirl pots for my Newage Impreza.

This seems like a good base and a nice package, haven't broke the parts down though to see if it is well priced.
