Default 2003 Wrx Blobeye More Power Advice

hey guys,

have a 2003 wrx blobeye with the following mods,

Td05 16g Turbo
Decat Up-pipe
Decat Downpipe
Walbro 225 Fuel Pump
Remap

Car is running standard injectors etc.

What would the next step be for me to get more power.... and what is the max my engine can handle?

thanks

STI injectors will get you some more power. But I wouldn't push a stock WRX lump that far personally.

Any idea what power you are running now? I own a 03 wrx also, I'm at 270bhp. I'm putting a vf35 and pink injectors on after Christmas and hoping for around 320bhp, ive been told 350 is borderline for the wrx??

350 is your limit tbh.
Pink injectors
Panel filter
Full decat inc uppipe
Vf35/34/28 td05 16g etc
255lph fuel pump
And remap and should be around 330-350

A bigger turbo and a few other stuff inc ecu as stock ecu will only go to about 1.55 bar and not ideal going over that on a wrx as engine or gearbox 'may' not be upto it so stick with upto 350max

Better brakes, handling up-grades and some driving lessons.

Gearbox is stronger than the engine in my experience.

There's a few mods that will get you more power (mainly at the wheels) if you want boost levels to be safer, things like lightened flywheel, aircon removal, lightweight pulleys, lightweight propshaft, silicone turbo inlet, ABS removal, low friction oils and larger top mount intercooler.

I'm making 333bhp at just 1.3bar, with a sportscat!

Not bad.

I'd expect to pay around that if it included an ecutek map. Maybe a tad more at some Subaru orientated specialists.
