Default Next steps ??? Td05 ? MD321 ?

Wondering what's needed to get a few more horses from my 2003 blob sti.

Running stock bottom end, RCM Induction Kit, HDI FMIC, Walbro 255 l/hr fuel pump, Full turbo back 3 inch De-Cat, Stock Sti headers and Up-Pipe.

Mapped by Andy Forrest with software showing 355/352.
Taken to Ecotune for dyno run put out 334/332. ( Is this normal? )

Thinking of going TD05 or whatever else is recommended and going to be safe on stock bottom end, but want it to be worth my while.
by that i mean. Gains of at least 50bhp. I read that sti can take 400 easy with supporting mods, but what are they ?

Larger turbo I know. What about fuel pressure reg ? or injectors ? also what make or F.P.R or Injectors CC etc. Do i need Alkatec ecu ?

Any thoughts or ideas appreciated.

Thats all ??

Turbo, injectors and mapped ?

Stock ecu ? Stock manifolds ?
What turbo exactly ? I thought more was needed.
Would be very happy with 400 and anymore is a bonus.

I run RCM GT Spec headers but you can just get a ported set of standards. I run stock ECU with Carberry rom allowing Mafless induction and a swirl pot for track. There is little bits then to help how it drives and make boost earlier but turbo dependent you can break 400 with the above.

mines would proboly be mapped by andy forrest so i think its Ecutek.
what are the benefits of going mafless and a swirl pot ?

Which turbo did u say you use and at what boost ?
what rpm do u hit max boost ?

Yea i forgot bout them as well, but double the cost of a td05 is it double the turbo ?
MD321 are expensive to but i know you get what you pay for with most things.

Anyone use stock sti headers with those turbos ?

Yes, I have a mdx321t on standard ported headers, made 410 bhp, hopefully more once decatted.

I have a 2005 JDM STI and I'm just about to bolt on a box of goodies, hopefully to reach the magic 400. Mine is as follows (not all bolted on or mapped yet).

Stock JDM block and manifold set up.
Kinugawa TD05 20g twin scroll turbo
Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors
HKS mushroom short ram induction
Japspeed front mount
Walbro 255lph fuel pump (may drop in a 340 if it's duty is high)
Grimmspeed 3 port boost solenoid
3" decat straight through into Blitz Nur Spec R
NGK PFR7B plugs

Not getting too hung up on numbers, but I am after a bit of extra oomph (up from 365/365).

Also, dynos will always give you a different reading to one another, nothing to worry about, although the Delta Dash figure which Andy Forrest gives is usually a wee bit high.

Where abouts in Glasgow you from?
