Classic WRX rear wiper arm removal.
How in the blue hell do I get the actual wiper arm off?
I need the rear screen replacing/re-sealing, so want it removed before getting a windscreen fitter out. Any advice? |
When I did mine, you lift the flap covering the nut at the pivot point, unscrew the nut and lift the arm to 90 deg from the screen. This should remove any pressure and allow it to free up. if not, the windscreen fitter has a tool to pull it off safely.
Then it all unscrews from the outside, and the motor unbolts from the inside, allowing you to pull it free. |
you have confirmed with them it has a rear wiper so they bring a screen with a hole?

Why would I do that, John? I already have a spare rear screen here, mate. ;) Hey at least it was a good reminder :lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1: |
