Default what up pipe

Hey, ive sourced a vf35 turbo. I'm also going to needing an sti up pipe, am I right in thinking the ebay ones are a no go? What about the afterburner from scoobyworld? http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_53&products_id=446

Is there any cheaper option?

They will fit spot on. No need for headers.

Hi there

As above Classic STI or New age STI will be OK for yours needs,if budget allows then I would go with Harvey Up pipe

About yours mods, they should easily support 270bhp,if you want go beyond that then turbo and bigger injectors there

WRX headers can be restrictive above 350bhp,but bellow that you should be OK

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura

Harvey up pipe all the way and if on standard manifold/headers then porting them helps.

Actually, one more question, I see there's a 3 bolt up pipe and a 2 bolt? What's up there? Do I need a 2 bolt? 😝

With OEM standard headers, you'll need a 2-bolt uppipe...

You can get the the latest design harvey (RIP) trick uppipes off AS Performance.

Just contact them and tell them your supporting mods spec and intended mapped power level, and they'll recommend the correct bore of uppipe for your needs (so as to optimise/maximise gas flow speed to the turbine for ASAP spool-up).

Thanks, I live near AS performance, in fact I'm planning on getting them to do the work for me sometime after Christmas 👍

I have one, and IIRC, they're a 2-part slip-jointed jobbie, which takes the stress out of them, when bolted between headers and turbo. I.e. the slip-joint allows the whole setup to 'breathe' in concert with the movement of the engine. (And no fragile flexi-piece to worry about, neither!).

Win-win.
