Speaking from experience -when you attach the wires - do the highest quality soldering job you can - DO NOT USE crimp on connectors. The voltages you are playing with are very small and you need to ensure a very good connection on the wires.

I nearly killed my engine due to some clown fitting it to my car with connectors - major det and refusal to start on cold days.

Go on Apexi website and follow the link for documantations for wiring the Apexi turbo timer. There you can find where the O2 sensor cable is.

I've had the AFR since Thursday (cheers Jamie) but I haven't managed to install it thanks to a disturbance in the force. It seems that Desannn has found the valley of the Jedi and only I can stop him from creating more reborns.

Okay, okay, I'll fit it in today. But the alure of Jedi Knight II is too strong...

Gah, I've just fit my pressure switch in for my intercooler spray. I'll fit the AFR on tuesday as Enterprise will be on on Monday. Cheers Jamie for the parts. Now back to being a Jedi...

Hehe, I just finished it 2 minutes ago. Desaan wasn't even that difficult to kill. Anyway, I think I'll be fitting this AFR in tommorrow afternoon once I come back from Uni. It shouldn't be too difficult as all I'm doing is making a Delta T connection right?

I think my O2 sensor might be gone. I can't get any readings at all from the AFR, no lights at all. I've tripple checked the connections and soldered all the joints...

Katana,

Have you tried the AFR with the car running and warmed up - I think the lambda sensor does not send signals until it is at operating temp (please correct me if I'm wrong). I fitted mine on the weekend and didn't get any readings until I realised this.

Mark.

Yup I have, but still no signal, hell, I've even taken her to the bypass and still no joy. I think it's seriously gone as its a 10 year old car. Know a nice place where I can get one?

Time for round 5....

edited - Yup you're right, I haven't had the oxygen sensor heated up enough.
