Default BOV question 1998 classic

Hi everyone, my car has what i assume is the standard black plastic dump valve still fitted. Ive noticed that it seems to be touching the bonnet when closed. Could anyone maybe post a picture of the correct location please?
Many thanks,
Craig

It's on the end of a large rubber hose?

I know that i just want to know if mine is fitted in the correct place. As you can see from the pic above, mine hits the bonnet when closed.

That's upside down,it should be by the starter motor, the short piece of hose connects to the pipe running under the inlet manifold

Thanks a lot mate, will have a wander up the garage and sort it!
Just to make sure, the longer hose comes out of the intercooler and in to the bottom of the BOV and the short hose connects to the pipe under the inlet manifold and to the side of the BOV? or vice versa?

Basically, undo the top hose clip, undo the bottom hose clip and turn the whole thing 180 degrees, you might need a longer vacuum hose though....
