Forester turbo s options?
Evening folks.
Just picked up a 51 plate forester turbo. Wouldn't mind some questions answered if possible?
I know there's parts compatibility between them and the Impreza but to what extent? It's like an oil tanker in the bends so at some point I'll be doing suspension and brakes etc so do classic parts fit?
Also, engine tuning, are they as mappable as other ecu's? Not looking for massive power gains, but wouldn't mind an fmic, bigger turbo the. A map to suit as the power at the moment is one big lump then pretty much out of puff by 5000rpm.
Also, one last question, since driving it more from getting it the gear change doesn't feel to chipper, however the clutch feels strong and no slippage under hard acceleration. Should it need a new box how hard is the job to do?
Cheers in advance. Any help is appreciated.
