Your standard top mount shouldn't stop you getting 320...... For 200 you don't have many options. Either a later model top mount second hand then do the mods to fit it or a cheap fmic like janspeed... But then you will need an induction kit too which is going to come to far more then 200. Also induction kits can cause issues so do your research.

your standard IC will cope with the power you are aiming for. V5 sti runs 276bhp as standard with same size IC.

For your car (our cars, as mine is a MY00 UK turbo) I'd be wanting to change more than the IC at 320 hp (I'd probably want to change the car to be honest). I'm at 280 with 300lb.ft torque and it seems pretty good on standard parts at this level (I did change the brake setup as it wasn't very good even for 215 hp).

No need for STI, specially for 320. I ran trough v4 WRX intercooler even 1.6 bar and it's been alight. Running a hint over 320 now and still same old wrx intercooler in there.

I do have big sti scoop (i doubt it helps).

Only thing to look for is on hot days, after you sit in traffic NEVER FLOOR IT . Make sure you cruise around for a few mins before flooring it.

I do have air intake temp on mine, and while in traffic, I have seen it go to 60 deg celsius this week. When on the move, it stays under 40deg which is my lowest the gauge can read unfortunately, so I can't tell how cold the air it really is. But surely enough I would not change it, unless I have nothing else to do with me money.

And if you do change it, V7,8,9 STI top mount you should go for. No point for front mounts at that power.

Do not buy a Japspeed Fmic, they are a load of cheap rubbish.
At the time I wanted a hybrid but no one in the UK had any stock so I bought a Japspeed to put me on for napping.

mapper told me it was holding the car back big time.

I'd stick with a top mount, over Japspeeds offerings
