Default fuel cut at 5k rpm :(

Hi guys

I've recently purchased a wrx sti v1(gc8) and its being a pain! On the way home I on the motorway I gave it a bit of toe and revved nicely to 5k until what I can only describe as fuel cut. I brought the car as a project and it also has a boost problem(only running 0.6 bar possibly due to the avcr) it has an avcr wich isn't setup right from what I can make out . . . Anyway after a few questions and reading up I was told the likes culprits were

Afm
Coilpacks
Plugs

And I have replaced all of them with working parts. Next I took my dash out to get my CEL LIGHT working, now it's working I did a diagnostics test and it came back as fault code 44. I don't think this is the reason why it's cutting as it has had an avcr in it for a long time and I doubt it had this problem since installing. I've also noticed the O2 sensor looks abit dodgy but it didn't throw a fault code? Am I overlooking this

I'm really not sure what elce I can do?
I have a new fuel pump but it already had a walbro unit

The overall spec is
Fmic
3" turbo back
Standard ecu
Standard injectors
Avcr (unsure how well this works)
Walbro 255

Anymore ideas guys?

it will be in limp mode while the error is being seen by the ecu, so its probably 4500 rpm limp mode your car is in.
