power steering jerky
Hi Guys
I've swapped out a classic rack for a spec c rack. I hooked the pipes up to my existing classic pump.
The movement in the rack can only be described as jerky. Say you go around a roundabout, it feels like the power steering comes and goes, it's not heavy like there is no power steering, but notchy.
Do you think I should have swapped the pumps too? Or the pump is on it's way out?
Or could the rack be the cause?
Any input appreciated
Cheers
Tom

belt is tight and driving the pump fine, they usually squeal like a bitch when they slip so I'm pretty sure it isn't that
I bled the rack full lock to full lock a good 10 times, 1/2 full reservoir still
