MY00 Turbo 2000 Boost Issue
Under boost the turbo seems to sound alot louder like a high pitch scream and the car doesn't feel to pull as hard as it use to even thow its boosting fine on my boost gauge.
i have checked all vacuum pipes for leaks, splits etc and cant find nothing.
i was advised to remove the pipe of the actuator and take it for a drive to see if it pulls good. did that and it pulls hard hitting 1.6 bar and does not hit fuel cut.
any advice ?
thanks

Air filter not secure? Leak in the air box area?
You say you took the vac pipe off the aculator and put what pipe on it, put a pipe from the nipple on the turbo to the aculator, then.it will run waistgate pressure,
check the main inlet pipe to the turbo if its the black pplasticy type they can split on the underside where the jubilee clip goes...

Thanks for the reply, he told me to take the pipe off actuator and leave it off to try it and it pulls hard with no issues, soon as pipe is back on I get loss of power.

wouldn't do to much of that, if it was my car is check every vac pipe closely, check the intake pipe and all clips are done up tight , check the intercooler for leaks and the clips underneath the cooler, has it correct boost rerestrictor pill,, I recon there a hole in the inlet pipe where it goes into the turbo
