V4 ignition barrel help

V4 ignition barrel help
Hi All,
Very new to this forum and will post up a hello thread soon but could really do with your help.
I have an issue with my recently acquired my98 uk turbo 2000, I can remove the key after starting, clearly ignition barrel mullered.
On previous cars in had I know that you can remove just the barrel on some rather than the whole assembly is on the legacy.
Is this the same on the impreza turbo 2000?
