Default induction kit question-maf related

i have a blob sti with a perrin fmic and paul @ zen has moved the maf to post intercooler location to counter compressor surge, currently the car is running an inner wing induction kit but i wish to change that as it doesnt fit well due to the large fmic pipework.

ideally i want an rcm kit but they have the maf housing in them which i dont need, can i buy a mafless trumpet or can you buy blanking plates?

only other option is a universal large k&n cone i suppose

cheers

Def. 2 versions. Think the one without the maf housing is 80mm and the one with the maf housing is slightly smaller. Give rcm or advanced automotives a call

Hi there

As above there are two versions,MAF and MAFless version

Second option you can buy Group A Induction, which is for Ford, but they should fit too Subaru or you can search for GGR induction kit for Subaru

Group A Induction kit

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_fr...Text=&_sacat=0

GGR link

http://shop.grahamgoode.com/impreza-...35-66794-p.asp

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura

Dan I think the less pipe work for induction will be better for drawing air in than your inner wing one? (Closer to turbo, the better)
I'd fit the rcm.
