Started understeering???
Hey,
I've and two occasions recently when cornering at speed the car has understeered massively. These are roads I drive on almost everyday and it's never done it before.
Both times it's been on a right hand bend.
Tyre pressures are fine and I can't see anything obvious.
Im pretty sure this has happened after hitting a pot hole with the front offside wheel the other week and it make a pretty loud bang.
In what order should I start checking things?
Alignment, bent track rod arm, suspension....

Possibly diesel on the road? Even tiny amounts of that stuff are lethal when a bit of rain falls on it.
And if its been spilling from an over-filled diesel tank with a filler cap on the left hand side, it might account for it being on right hand bends.
If its something mechanical, I'll be of less help.

Thanks for the reply, I'm starting to think that as for two days now I've been trying to recreate it with no avail.
My front shocks need doing which might not be helping.

I went around a corner a while ago and over-steered big time!! About 180 deg and faced the other way I crapped myself! rear tyres were low, but not illegal, so changed em right away. Did the trick and no more probs.
