Default Replacing exhaust crossover pipe gaskets

Hi All,

I've got a slight blow from one of my exhaust crossover gaskets on my 1993 WRX (stock manifold) and wondering if it's possible to replace these gaskets leaving the headers and up-pipe in place? In theory it should be possible as the crossover pipe unbolts, but not sure if there will be enough space to get the gaskets in position properly.

I've recently replaced the up-pipe gaskets hence not wanting to disturb this, and also given the headers probably haven't been touched in 21 years I don't want to disturb these either if I don't need to!

I would say yes but you will more than likely need to just slacken the other joints a little but they should tighten up ok.
